How we do it

  • Pre-Production

Cut to Create works with you to map out your vision and prepare for a successful and effective video. We get to know our clients' needs, goals, and perspective to inform scripting and strategy. Meticulous planning in advance of filming ensures alignment across the whole team of creatives involved with the project.

We take the time to understand your goals and brand so we can collaborate on creative ways to communicate your message.

We’ll write a script, do the research to build an interview structure… maybe even create a storyboard which allows all stakeholders to coalesce around a common vision.

We develop a detailed production plan, coordinate our filming days down to the minute and communicate all preparatory information to participants.

Some videos require compiling archival materials, creative assets, or other background research to inform the copy and creative of your video project.

We dive into the best strategies to reach your audience and set you apart from your competitors.

For more complex projects, storyboarding creates a more visual representation of the shooting script allows all stakeholders to coalesce around a common vision.

  • Production

We’re experts in lights, camera, and action-related corporate video production services. Never forget the Cut to Create motto: Looking good. Feeling good. Safety. All three, all the time.

From offshore rigs to Zach’s backyard in Houston, wherever the corporate video production takes us, we are ready to film there.

The perfect gift to celebrate a construction milestone or dramatic visual change over time. We're talking days, weeks, even years here, people.

We utilize a MJI Mavic for most aerial shoots, or a DJI Inspire for its variety of lenses suited to high resolutions, and when we need dual operating capabilities. FPV drones are what we use when we want to fly through a warehouse, stadium, brewery, office… Big spaces and tight spaces, you name it. When none of those fit the bill, our team of Part 107 licensed drone pilots have access to heavy-lift drones for filming aerials on cinema cameras.

You already look amazing, but we've got some talented artists who can make you feel even more amazing for your on camera moment.

We can record John from HR doing the voice over for your corporate recruiting video at your office, or we can hire a professional Voice Over artist who matches your needs from our trusted network.

Nobody expects you to memorize 3 minutes of messaging for your internal corporate communication. We got you.

  • Post-Production

The second we yell “Cut!” our post-production team begins to create. First we mix pure, uncut footage with a trough of piping hot coffee and store in a dark room with an editor for 4-400 hours until they say they're "cooked". Et voila!

Our editors weave together the soundbites of interview footage. They find the amazing b roll to illustrate it. They put the pieces of the story together and make it look amazing.

Lower thirds! Title cards! An extremely long list of “the Do’s and Don’ts of Microwave Safety”! If it’s text or pictures and it needs to be on screen, we'll do it- with panache!

Sometimes we need to create something that doesn’t exist in reality or on film and we can do that too! From 2D to hyper-realistic we'll find the right style for you.

Generic Pop Beat #5 isn't going to cut it for your project. Thankfully we've got the Cut to Create version of Hans Zimmer over here just chomping at the bit to compose some bespoke music that will send your project over the edge.

Color grading is one of those magical post-production processes that is utterly explicable yet bafflingly impactful.

Our animators bring your brand to life translating your vibe into a video vibe.
