Our client, Venturis Capital, was looking to showcase the culture, safety, and growth opportunities available at Lonestar Forklift, which we developed into three day-in-the-life style employee testimonial videos that would feature a diverse group of employees that could speak authentically about their individual experiences at the company.
As a set, these videos are intended to demonstrate the wide range of opportunities and growth, while maintaining a consistent company culture throughout the entire organization.
In the Brand Story video, Josh McSwain shares the story of how Lonestar Forklift became the largest Hyundai forklift dealer in North America.
By demonstrating the history of the company, we hope to position Lonestar Forklift as a consistently growing, stable, yet forward-thinking part of the Venturis Capital family.
It also features the products and services they offer, their operator trainings and their plans for the future.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“From the first initial creative discussion through the pre- and post-production process to final file delivery, the Cut to Create team was absolutely top notch to work with! They came to the table with a very collaborative and thoughtful approach to ensuring we ended up with a video package of cinematic masterpieces that told our brand story with authenticity. We couldn’t wait to share them with our world!
Zach and the crew were very well organized once shoot day arrived, bringing the perfect mix of fun and professionalism that really instilled confidence that they were capturing all the interview and B-roll footage we needed to tell our full story in our best light. The post-production editing process was super smooth with frequent check in’s and approvals at various stages for each cut. The finished videos were incredibly well received by our employees, customers, and suppliers once we officially launched them, and now our HR team has some beautifully media rich assets to share our story with future employees.”
We worked closely with Venturis Capital and Lonestar Forklift to develop the concept, script, shooting schedule, and style. We conducted pre-interviews with talent and location scouting on site.
Our crew, including a producer/director, director of photography/camera operator, sound engineer, and drone operator/additional camera, spent one day on site at Lonestar Forklift to capture all of the content required for this set of videos.
Following client branding guidelines, we edited each video and provided color correction and sound mixing. We shared each draft with the client via Frame.io, which allows us to efficiently share and track feedback among multiple stakeholders. After finishing and final file delivery via an external hard drive, we have archived the footage internally as well as an additional measure.

“The videos made by Cut To Create have been game-changers in my lectures at the University of Texas Austin. They’ve helped me reframe the role of an equipment sales rep into a B2B consultative role, showcasing machinery sales as a viable career. These videos have sparked interest among the students and helped to develop a reputation on the campus as a top employer.”
