The series includes DeEtte, a dedicated swimmer from Houston, TX; Willie, a passionate runner from St. Pauls, NC; and The Smith Family, a pickleball-playing trio from Baton Rouge, LA.
Each video delves into the unique stories and motivations of these athletes, capturing their perseverance, love for their sport, and the sense of community they experience through the Senior Olympics.
The series highlights how staying active and engaged at any age can lead to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
The North Carolina shoot and the Louisiana shoot required travel planning, and for each interview we got to know.our subjects through pre-interviews so that we would be able to best guide our interviews toward the most compelling content.
For each athlete, wanted to capture them both in “everyday” life and in training for the sport they are passionate about. Showing them in the wider context of their communities encourages the viewer to feel empowered to seek their healthy passions and their community.
We first provided a radio edit for each video so the client could sign off on the sound bites before adding in the visuals, graphics, color and sound.
