CPKC’s Patrick J. Ottensmeyer International Railway Bridge is a historic achievement, seamlessly connecting Canada, the U.S., and Mexico on a single, uninterrupted rail network. To commemorate this milestone, we captured the epic ribbon-cutting ceremony, where two trains—one from the U.S. and one from Mexico—met nose-to-nose at the international border in Laredo, symbolizing a new era of cross-border trade and transportation.

Our team worked on the ground and in the air, using a mix of cinematic visuals, drone footage, and immersive sound design to bring this moment to life. The main event was just the beginning—we also produced a short documentary highlighting the bridge’s engineering, economic impact, and significance for North American trade.

Additionally, we created a series of engaging social media shorts, giving audiences a dynamic look at the bridge and the ceremony, and developed a comprehensive b-roll package that CPKC can use across a variety of projects and showcases. From the grandeur of the ribbon-cutting to the intricate details of the bridge’s construction and impact, our work captures the scale, ambition, and significance of this transformative project.
